KingCast presents: An awesome and appropriate Craigslist quote about Liko Kenney, Bruce McKay and Gregory W. Floyd.

I believe Liko died for something he believed in and so did the cop. The difference is, much had been given to the cop. The cop had the badge, the gun, the cuffs, the color of authority, the training, the experience, the wisdom of the ages, the education, the counsel of his fellow officers, and he acted no differently than Liko that had none of that, who had the last clear opportunity to throw cold water on the fire, who had the obligation and responsibility to do so?

Kennedy said, "to you much has been given, from you much is expected", I say again, who failed?
Which supports our Complaint to the U.S. House for a thorough investigation and which dovetails with my assertion from this post:
PS: You're right, maybe Gandhi doesn't pull the trigger. Liko was no Gandhi as are neither of us.

But it shouldn't take the mental fortitude of Mahatma Gandhi to get your ass home when you have a 4-day inspection/registration sticker issue.

That's what I'm talking about.

Each of us, on occasion, contemplates the absurd. Luckily, we are able, as clear-thinking adults, to suppress such absurdities as shooting someone IN THE BACK! C'mon, Chris... dream world! Most in LE agree that McKay's biggest mistake, and there are many who've made it who are unfortunately no longer with us, was to turn his back on a law-breaker, especially after spraying him with OC!

I put equal blame on those two, McKay and Kenney. One for escalating the traffic stop, but the other for carrying the event to such an absurd level.

Nice to continue our conversation, but sorry, in this evaluation I agree with the viewpoint of the Craigslist writer.

Again, McKay was not shot in the back, he was shot in the side. Had he in fact done a quick pivot just as he left the view of the camera and reached for his heat?

And his biggest mistake(s) was not the final mistake of turning his back, but instead were the seven (7) pursuit and OC Spray violations he made BEFORE he turned his back.

As I said in the KingCast short film "Franconia 5/11: Injustice on Stilts" "The real story is what that cop did to him BEFORE he got shot."

Peace.

PS: The only offensive thing about what I said was this sentence structure but once I sent it I don't change it back, I like the cinema verite thing:

"as are neither of us."

Ouch. That's gonna' leave a mark!

LOL,
