JP Morgan and Shady East Coast law firm Goldbeck Mccafferty Mckeever check in on shady East Coast law firm Phelan, Hallinan & Schmieg.
From Bizjournals, to whom I am forwarding this journal entry. Dig this: "The lawsuit, filed late last month by Pittsburgh lawyer Patrick Loughren, alleges that Goldbeck McCafferty engaged in widespread fraud in mortgage foreclosures by having nonlawyers file documents that licensed attorneys were supposed to review but did not. It alleges the nonlawyers forged the names of the firm’s lawyers on the documents."
And there's more, Sanctioned for issuing bogus docs. Yep, pretty shady. But at least they didn't put an innocent reporter and homeowner in the line of potential gunfire and then lie to building security about it such that Senator Menendez -- with an office right next door -- is receiving complaints from me and others on it, trust me on this. No, that wall of shame moment is the exclusive province of Phelan, Hallinan & Schmieg, and I will SEO the hell out of them for it. Apology from them? I'll make my own. And let's not even get to JP Morgan, sheesh. They were reading this entry. Will the real slim shady please stand up, please stand up.....
