KingCast jam of the Day: Loverboy, "Turn me loose." No joking.

The scene: Nashua Subway, Broad Street, 6:30 p.m.
The sandwich: $5.00 Tuna, chipotle mayo, oil/vinegar, veggies, toasted.
The soundtrack: Loverboy "Turn me loose."
The father: With 2 year-old son, eating.
The mother: Working behind the counter.
The KingCast move: Start laughing and bust into lyric verse. Everyone joins in. I'm laughing so hard I leave my helmet on the table. The father can't feed his kid. Grins all 'round the house. Too rich for words. Watch it on YouTube, circa 1980. Sorry for the Vevo but I decided I had to put the vintage version up and that is the best one.

"You had to have it your way.... or no way at all....."
"I had to have it my way.... or no way at all....."

Damn high school was a long time ago, and Loverboy was kind of a joke of a band, but what a true song. It rocks. The keys, the guitar, the vocals, everything just over the top, absolutely hootlarious. Anyway, don't try this at home. In fact, don't try it anywhere but it's fun to remember.

And I can't sing for shit but I can falsetto from listening to so much Eddie Kendricks, Marvin Gaye and Earth Wind and Fire and such, so that part when he goes:

"I'm gonna pack my bags and fly... my way....."

Was epic.

You had to be there.

Or not =^.)
