A word about Geraldine Ferraro, whom I actually supported in 1984: Maybe you wouldn't be where you are if you weren't white, stupid.

What a racist asshat she showed herself to be, yah?

Barack Obama is correct to question the, umm.... tone of Senator Clinton's campaign, as noted herein.

Related post: Barack please pay attention to police abuse in New Hampshire. Our Republican Attorney General, Kelly Ayotte was found liable this month for illegal activity and failing to disclose murder investigation protocol in the Franconia shooting tragedy, and that is antithetical to the ends of Justice and open government that you espouse.

I think we all should judge the candidates on the content of their platform and not the color of their skin. Hers is a not so subtle way of saying that. She is saying racism is playing a hand in this election, that people are voting based on their feelings about race. Its a calculated osbervation for sure; but to your point, none of us would be where we are if we were different, in any way. That's the way of the world. You would not be fighting government santioned terrorism in a small hamlet in NH, I would not be designing gunning dories for yuppies who need more toys. Lets plant flowers.

And MaryAnn, keep puffin' that expression, you look great in your mug shot!

Appending the above, I also note that her comment is making the contest about race all the more, and if she has a critique of Senator Obama it should have been on his platform. So I agree, shame on her. But shame on all of us, may God have mercy on our souls. Proceed.

Yah,

And the thing is to me is that the way she put it such that race was the determinative factor in where he is, and she was implying that he has no merit other than race.

Would she say that about any number of white politicians?

....Love that.

sure, in the bolded and quoted paragraph at 2:25, and especially the last line, i find a person lacking any real substance.

Chris,
Don't bother. She is just another white bitch trying to keep a brother down.
