"The video from Franconia Police Cpl. Bruce McKay's cruiser shows the final moments before 24-year-old Liko Kenney shoots him following a
traffic stop. Discrepancies between the case file and audio clips leave the actions and demeanor of Kenney's killer, 49-year-old Gregory Floyd, still in question.
The number and location of spent shell casings, along with conflicting information provided by Floyd and Kenney's surviving passenger in interviews immediately following the shooting, has left some questions unanswered."
....ummmm, call me crazy but that's why I find Mr. Herbert's audio interview germane.
Anyway, it appears that we may construct a non-profit association, and we will even be amenable to talking with police like Chris Fowler, who has spoken very negatively about Liko Kenney and who is part of the Franconia Conciliation group, which to my knowledge has never contacted any of the Kenney family or Connie McKenzie, who tried to revive Bruce McKay on her front lawn that fateful day. I know these things because these people are on my speed dial.
It may seem like I come down hard on police in this blawg, but as a former AAG who has sued and represented LE in private practice, I am someone who has had, and continues to have friends in LE. I just talked to Nashua Lieutenant Tim Goulden yesterday in fact, watch "Day in Nashua" at KingCast.net (largely paid for through the community) to see one of our earlier conversations as we got to know each other. So any LE who says I don't respect reasonable law enforcement officials is full of hot air and something more solid and to the south: I am just giving the perspective that the mass media refuse to share, so I have to point out major lies like those told by NH State Police Captain Russell Conte and the aforesaid failure to disclose material evidence, coupled with the affirmative misrepresentation that such evidence did not exist.
With 81 comments as of 8:15 a.m. these are my thoughts about open government.
Related post: Law students get it, just as they did in Columbus before the Government pushed me out. But they can't push me out of the Internet and the hearts of the locals. Instead they can prepare to answer the ethics complaint for withholding evidence to the public and affirmatively misrepresenting its presence.
