KingCast notes that Bruce Lavoie and Liko Kenney are both still dead, read Lavoie's NH AG report vis a vis the Franconia shooting tragedy.

I never knew Bruce Lavoie, but you better read this account of how the NH AG "investigated" his death at the hands of the Hudson police for no good reason. Apparently (Governor Lynch?.....) we have got to have Federal intervention in Liko's case.

Anyway, I never even lived in New Hampshire until August 2002, and Mr. Lavoie had been shot dead by Hudson Police without justification, in front of his son, exactly 13 years prior. At 5:00 a.m. in the morning no less, as he rose from sleep. Lavoie was 34 years old -- seven years younger than I am now. I think about the things I've done since I was 34, and any task, however mundane in remembrance now becomes brilliant. I go to bed tonight and my heart aches for him. I don't know whatever came of his family's case against the Hudson Police Department, nor do I know what happened to his wife and child.

But I do know that Police abuse still happens. You can ask Willie Toney about that. But you can't ask Bruce Lavoie, because Bruce Lavoie is still dead.

We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark.

Editor: As I noted on 8 March 2006, some damn cops killed Bruce Lavoie for smoking a roach and got away with it.

Damn. You see how hard it is to find anything about Bruce Lavoie on the Internet?

That's precisely what NH AG Kelly Ayotte and company had in mind for Liko Kenney, but now that the Internet and our network is stronger than Bruce's was, we ain't having that.

It's a New Day in Communications for KingCast, all other like us, and 21st Century Civil Rights.

Namaste.

Yeah, I ditched Business and English for a Communications degree in Undergrad so I'm lovin' this. It's a Perfect Zen, except that Liko's not physically here for it.

But his spirit sure is.

*******

12:08p and this keyboard's on fire -- fire on the mountain -- and I'm outta' here.

Everybody save that first link on the Bruce Lavoie shooting as an actual file on your computers and cut and paste it, before it disappears.

Then we can host it on our own goddamn servers when it does, because it probably will.

Sorry, I used profanity.

Namaste.

This is truly a horrible story about Bruce Lavoie. Even if they did stuggle, the cops busted in while they were sleeping. I didn't read that they informed the man as to who they were when they were in the hallway or upon entering the bedroom. It was early (lighting) enough that it would have been hard to distinguish people clearly. It most certainly had to have been dis-orienting for all of the people that lived there. He also had small children in his room that he may have been trying to protect, if he did in fact try to close the door.

On top of it they found next to nothing at his home and clearly was no big time drug dealer. Very, very sad.

Did anyone see that crazy article about the woman that was charged with harassing a canine dog by staring at him through a window? It happened in Vermont. They claimed she cause trauma to the dog. The insanity of anyone taking it seriously continues when the courts even waste time to give an explanation as to why the charges are dropped. The charges were dropped because the dog could not testify as to how the incident had caused him emotional trauma.

Dear 6:52

I don't even know how I came to know about the Bruce Lavoie story, but it is one that certainly they want shut down. I had forgotten about it until I remembered it for some reason last night.

The key thing here is that the police really were in the wrong, but the AG and Staties made their investigation show that everything was justified, which is precisely what they have done thus far with Liko.

Also, pay attention to the lack of respect that some law officers showed:

By the way, Nashua Police officers showed up at the first public town meeting wearing Batman shirts, the victim's wife said in her report that one of the police officers who arrived after the shooting looked like Michael Keaton in Batman, and the victim's full name was Bruce Watson Lavoie.

I hate to say it, but some police really are pigs, and that's just the way it is.

And the Good Ones can't speak out for fear of job security.

And the beat (down) goes on.

And yeah I read the dog story. Purely ridiculous.

That damn dog seemed to have more rights than the average citizen. Guess because he was a COP dog. They get special treatment you know because those dogs are putting themselves on the line every time they get in that cruiser.

Yeah, I think I would feel safer if I was a dog in the state of NH. Even if I couldn't get on the Canine Squad!
