KingCast artists of the day: Johnny Cash and Buju Banton.

Say what? KingCast takes time to enjoy life? Well, ummm, yeah. Buju was brilliant last week and Johnny Cash's covers are simply unbelievable. Give a full two hours to listen to all the tracks, and marvel at a certain simplicity in the way he addresses the vocals, thoroughly caressing each syllable as you would a lover's ear, or the petals of a rose. It's beautifully haunting. As for Buju, well, the "voice of Jamaica" never sounded better. How one skinny man can produce such a wall of sound it is unbelievable.

Reggae? I lawyered for both of Skankland's owners in Columbus.
