Save the Internet from Congress and major telcos.

Daily Kos just covered a story about Congress ending Internet neutrality, which will have grave consequences for everyday Internet surfings, as companies like AT&T, Verizon, Comcast, etc. will regulate traffic. Read more here; sign the petition.

Remember, these companies all rely on American Tower for their infrastructure, and American Tower are some of the biggest assholes the World has ever seen. We've seen what American Tower and its lawyers will do to forward their hegemonic designs against free speech right here in my wee little blawg, going ex parte to Blogger to make them remove posts that a room full of Blogger attorneys reversed after I approached them with principled logic, law and documentation that American Tower and their lawyers were scumbags. Look at what they made me do to landlords in Texas. First Amendment? Free Country? Not if they can help it.

  • I read about this briefly. This is DISASTROUS.

    Communications infrastructure should undoubtedly be NATIONALIZED and non-profit.

    I am in the middle of finals now, but will certainly follow up on this.

  • You know they had to find a way to erect fences on the new frontier.

    It's pure bullshit.

    I dig your work, too. My film maker, in addition to being from a law enforcement background, was a finance major. We talk about some of the things you address but I wish I had more time to delve into that realm instead of the petty shit I'm dealing with in New Hampshire.

    But it's not really petty; it's symbolic of a much larger picture. Anyway, enjoy KingCast and stay in touch.

"It should be nationalized" reads "A mob should take what you have from you, and tough shit." Still taking finals spells "I've never worked in my life for a wage". Commie douche bag. That day has passed. And I've got my own mob. Beeotch.
