Dear Mother Ann: This one's for you.

Dear Mother Ann:
I will keep on keepin' on, as you always told me to do. I will do the work that your husband would have done if only he had the technology, unlike the NAACP, which is now a gutless, spineless entity. I know you are smilin' on me and I'm smilin' back at you.

PS: Mother Ann in the 70's; my father was a pallbearer.

PPS: She loved the little Jetta: "It's so RED Son!" she used to say.
